user-imageThis trip is all about you! The purpose of this trip is to truly connect with nature and Wildlife at an intimate level. The retreat will be located in the heart if Jim Corbett National Park, at Riverside by Aahma – a beautiful 4 Start Resort by the River Kosi.

Accommodation will be in river-view rooms and the Yoga and Meditation sessions will be outdoors on the sprawling lawns of the resort by the river. This experience will help you connect with your surroundings and your inner self in an extremely unique, never before way, making you more aware of the true essence of living in natural. Exciting and thrilling is what it will be!

This yoga retreat will also be a great opportunity to connect with a community of healthy, conscious, aware individuals interested in leading a balanced, holistic and interesting life. Level of Yoga

If you are new to yoga or have very little experience doing yoga, this is an ideal retreat for you. You will learn the basics of yoga, its health benefits as well as its spiritual benefits, and its overall positive impact on your life.

You will also come to realize how yoga works on strengthening the spine, the organs in our body, and the immune system.

If you are a regular yoga practitioner at the intermediary level – we will work with you personally at your level – to sustain and enhance your practice.

By the end of the retreat all the participants will have a deeper understanding of yoga, yoga asanas and yoga philosophy. Your overall ability to successfully integrate yoga, meditation and mindfulness techniques into your daily life, will be far greater and more holistic.

Eligibility

- Beginners are welcome as well as those with no experience doing yoga
- All beginners would love this retreat, as we will be focusing on basic yoga postures and stretches – to maintain a healthy body
- If you love yoga, the outdoors, nature, camping and hiking - this is just the retreat for you.
- Anyone above the age of 10 is eligible for this yoga retreat.
- Individuals under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a guardian
- If you have a basic level of fitness, and you are excited about doing a daily practice of yoga and some walking / hiking – this is just the retreat for you.
- There is no upper age limit; as long as you enjoy doing yoga. You know your body best to take this call
- If you are over 6 months pregnant or have just delivered a baby (up to 6 months ago) we would recommend attending our next yoga retreat.
- If you have had a surgery in the last 6-7 months, we recommend you wait and apply for the next yoga retreat. It is always advisable to wait a year after a surgery / operation, before you start the practice of yoga again
- If you are experiencing any forms of emotional or physical stress, anxiety or depression, this is just the retreat for you. This one-week will help you become calmer, detox and relax emotionally, mentally and physically, in the heart of nature and wilderness.
- Our aim is to transform your current state of mind and body to a higher more evolved level.

Location

user-imageOur yoga retreat is being held at a beautiful property in Jim Corbett, Uttrakhand, called Riverside by Aahma (add the link of their website here – https://aahmahospitality.com/). Surrounded by gorgeous forests, hills and wilderness, it is located in the heart of nature by the river Kosi. It is creatively landscaped and had sprawling lawns all around the property – an ideal location for outdoor yoga classes. Enjoy daily yoga sessions to the sound of flowing river and the symphony of birds around us.

The location is also extremely close to the entrance gate of Jim Corbett National Park. Tucked away in the foliage and wilderness of the national park, this resort is the perfect location for a yoga and adventure retreat.

Mid to late March is always beautiful in Jim Corbett. The mornings and evenings are pleasant with a nice cool breeze (17 C – 23 C), while the afternoons are sunny and beautiful (26 C -31 C). Please come prepared for this weather. Chances of rain are minimal and it usually does not rain in Jim Corbett this time of year.

Yoga Instructor - Shibani Sahni

user-imageWith vast experience in teaching yoga both overseas and in India, Shibani is an expert global yogi. She believes in assisting and empowering people through yoga, with specializations in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Mindfulness, Pranayama, and Chanting Techniques.

Shibani is also a Psychotherapist and a Reiki Therapist. In her personal one-on-one sessions, she excels in effectively aligning yoga, yoga therapy and psychological counseling techniques to assist and equip her clients with effective strategies, to better manage and coping with their situations. Her guidance and approach enables individuals to effectively deal with life challenges at emotional, mental, and behavioral levels. Some of the conditions that she tackles in her sessions are – anxiety, stress, hypertension, depression, addictions, eating disorders, panic attacks and phobias.

Shibani’s style and approach are quite unique and have incredible benefits; they are tailored to personally suite her clients’ individual needs, employing both traditional and modern techniques. Shibani can be called a yogi who exercises a truly unified approach in yoga, counseling, and therapy to provide an enriching and rejuvenating experience through her beautifully curated Yoga Retreats and Holidays.

We have both Single and Double sharing accommodation available for our retreat. All our accommodations are spacious, comfortable and river facing.
